When the noise got loud, she went East
As an Asian-American, Iris Chan spent her college gap year returning to Asia—the unfamiliar land of her ancestors—to look for clarity. She practiced quietly in temple courtyards in Thailand and studied meditation with teachers in Nepal. There she encountered crystals not as decoration, but as sacred tools in Buddhist practice—objects that focus intention, invite protection, and steady the mind. She came back with a simple purpose: to translate that grounding energy into modern, wearable rituals for people facing the same pressures she once felt.

In Paris, Iris turned to her close friend Silvia — a Paris-based jewelry designer — to translate meaning into style. With Silvia’s fashion eye, we reimagined crystals and other natural, spiritually significant materials (from Baroque pearls to gemstones) into contemporary forms: clean lines, balanced proportions, and a subtle, lived-in elegance. The outcome isn’t costume “talisman” jewelry, but modern pieces with soul — easy to wear, quietly powerful, and unmistakably refined.
